The Mother’s Club has been an active and vital part of Troop 93 for many years. One of our primary purposes is to supplement the troop financially. We sponsor numerous fundraisers throughout the year to help accomplish this goal, such as:
- Wreath Sale
- Night at the Races
- Bowling Nights
- Car Washes
- Garage Sales
- Holiday Boutique
- Anything else that you can think of...
The money raised provides each scout with a holiday gift, and helps to supply the troop with hats, neckerchiefs (they are handmade), along with troop sweatshirts & t-shirts, and other apparel. The Mother’s Club has also helped to provide transportation to summer camp.
The Mother’s Club maintains a uniform bank of outgrown pants, shorts and shirts that may fit your son. Before you go out to buy new uniform pants or shirts, check with one of us at a meeting.
We also provide hospitality for Eagle Scout ceremonies and for other special occasions. On Scout Sunday we fire up the griddles early in the morning and throw on some aprons as we host a pancake breakfast for all the new and old scouts.
During our Parent Meetings, we discuss and plan all of our upcoming events. At regular Monday night Troop meetings, we have sign-up sheets available for our upcoming events for volunteers to help set-up and clean-up. Everyone is welcome to be an active participant, and new ideas are always appreciated, especially where fundraising is concerned. Working together, there is no task that is impossible to accomplish.
