“Boys leading boys, under the guidance of men.”

The Troop is divided into patrols, including a Senior Patrol.  The Senior Patrol consists of older Scouts and is led by the Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders. Individual patrols have Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders.  This system allows older boys to serve the Troop in a leadership position by assisting and instructing the younger boys in the Troop. It also gives all of the boys a greater sense of independence and they take on more responsiblity as they mature into young men.
